Before buying the game, I looked up some reviews and wow, were they rather different. Some say the game aimed too high and didn't quite get there, others say it landed in a perfect place with so few resources.

My opinion is a mix of both! I think the devs aimed really high indeed (AAA studio game no less) and almost hit it, but to a point where the game has a flaw here and there, which doesn't make it unplayable or unenjoyable. Quite the contrary, I think it's an amazing game for all the Bioware fans.

RPG? Check. Consequences? Check. Combat and looting system? Check. Tons of dialogue, relationships? Check. Beautiful view? Check, check, check.

I'm still in the beginning, learning more about my companions, picking up new ones and exploring the world, but things slowly start making sense.
